Olga Shelest is a popular Russian TV presenter and journalist. Her biography is well remembered from various TV shows that Shelest hosted on MTV and Muz-TV, as well as on the Morning program, aired on NTV.
Biography
Olga Shelest was born in 1977 in Naberezhnye Chelny. As a child, she was a very active child and was fond of everything related to creativity. Unsurprisingly, she wanted to become a fashion designer. She received the necessary education at an art school and could well accomplish what she wanted, but by chance she ended up on television: the girl passed a casting for a prestigious vacancy and subsequently decided to seriously engage in television journalism.
After working on local television, Olga Shelest went to Moscow to try to enter the University of Cinematography. Gerasimova, but could not get through. Then she applied to the capital's Institute of Television and Radio Broadcasting, and this time she was lucky: the girl went to the coveted faculty of journalism. Having received her education, Olga quickly found a job in television. And the first important step in her career was the position of the presenter on the MUZ-TV channel.
For some time, the aspiring journalist hosted the Klipomania show, thanks to which she became widely known. But soon she switched to the STS channel, where she began to conduct "Muzykalny prospect". In 1997, Shelest also worked on the BIZ-TV channel, having met another young television journalist, Tutta Larsen, who became her best friend. A year later, Olga got a job at MTV, where she began to manage the "New Athletics!" and a few more TV shows.
Since 2002 Olga Shelest has worked on the NTV channel, where she hosted the Morning program. To make the show more popular and aimed at viewers of all ages, Anton Komolov, a friend and partner of Shelest on the MTV channel, was invited to it. This successful tandem subsequently appeared on other channels, including Zvezda and First. The audience remembered well the lively presenter of the show "Circus with the Stars", "Girls" and, of course, the broadcasts of the European Eurovision Song Contest.
Personal life
Olga Shelest met her future husband Alexei Tishkin while working on the MTV channel. They maintained a romantic relationship for a long time, but did not dare to enter into an official marriage. Finally, in 2012, the couple got married in New York and had a daughter, Muse. Three years later, the parents met their second child - daughter Iris.
The TV presenter rarely pleases fans with pictures of her family life, but claims that she is doing well. She does not stop working on television. She recently became the head of the Everybody Dance! In addition, Olga often voices characters in popular cartoons that appear in films. One of the latest was Ice Age 5: Collision Inevitable, in which Shelest gave the voice to the character Ellie.
