Yulianna Yuryevna Karaulova was born on April 24, 1988 in Moscow. The girl was the only child in the family. Her father was a diplomat. Therefore, when the daughter was 4 years old, the whole family, on the duty of the head of the family, moved to the capital of Bulgaria, the city of Sofia.
At the new place of residence, little Julianna went to a special school at the Russian Embassy. She quickly got used to the unfamiliar environment and became a real activist at school. From the age of 6, she performed on stage with might and main.
In 1998, the young performer took part in the Dobrich national vocal competition, where she received her first diploma in her life.
In 1999, her father's service in a foreign country came to an end, which means that they had to return to Moscow, where the girl was already educated in a simple school in the city.
A career in music
In 2005, the popular youth magazine of that time "YES!" announced a competition called "Face of the Year", one of the three winners of which was Karaulova. All three girls won the main prize: they made up the musical trio "YES!"
During the existence of the collective, only 4 songs were written. In 2004, the girls came to the casting in the fifth "Star Factory". But from the whole group, only Julianne was taken into the project. As the girl herself later said, her parents persuaded her to go to the casting, since Karaulova believed that the show was fake and the winner had long been known there.
However, having become a member of the "Factory", the girl was convinced of the honesty of what was happening and began to fight for victory in the popular TV show. Constant work on oneself, exhausting rehearsals - what did Karaulova not experience. But she did not succeed in becoming the winner of the project. Despite this, the producers of the show created a girl band called "Netsuke", one of the soloists of which was Julianna. The producer of the group, by the way, was none other than Maxim Fadeev. The famous mentor for his wards did a lot. Several songs were recorded, more than one video clip was shot, but the trio never became famous. The members of the promising team scattered in all directions.
Disappointment due to a series of failures was not long in coming. The girl thought that she urgently needed a "foundation" in the form of a profession. In addition to music, she really liked journalism, and she firmly decided to apply to one of the most prestigious universities in the country - Moscow State University. But on the last day of accepting documents, she realized that her love for music is stronger, and the option with the Faculty of Journalism has disappeared. Instead, she became a student at the famous Gnessin Academy. After graduation, the newly-minted student worked as an editor at the publishing house of the glossy "YES!" Familiar to her.
Thanks to her work in the editorial office, Karaulova met the guys from the increasingly popular 5sta Family group. Soon the collective parted with its soloist Olya Zasulskaya. The members of the pop group suggested Karaulova to take her place. So in 2011, the singer's musical career sparkled with new colors.
She has become a sought-after performer not only in Russia, but also abroad. During the time that the young artist was in the "5sta Family", the group managed to record one album called "Why?", Which was released in 2012 and brought the team even greater success.
In the wake of success and personal popularity, in 2015 Karaulova decides to start a solo career and leaves the pop trio.

Personal life
After a long search for personal happiness, Karaulova came to the conclusion that Andrei Cherny became her life partner. The man works as a sound producer. The couple met when Julianna participated in the "Star Factory". Then the girl was only 16 years old.
For a long time, the young man looked after his passion, and in December 2016, in a romantic setting on an ice rink, he proposed to her in front of 150 people. The girl agreed. But it is not known when they will begin to live in the status of husband and wife. Due to the singer's busy work schedule, the wedding had to be postponed. But there is no question of any parting.
