Biography: childhood

Boris Belozerov was born on December 2, 1993 in St. Petersburg. He became the firstborn in a family of philologists. My father has a second higher education - economics. Belozerov himself noted in an interview that he had the most ordinary family. Soon after the birth of the child, the parents of the future polymath decided to change their place of residence. So Boris ended up in Volgograd, where he spent his childhood and youth.

Belozerov went to first grade in one of the ordinary schools in the city. There he immediately began to stand out for his deep knowledge of all subjects. In an interview, Belozerov recalled that at that time he had almost no friends, because few people shared his interests.

In 2003, Tina Kandelaki's show "The Smartest" was released. Then Boris was 10 years old. A year later, he became a member of it. This was preceded by intensive preparation and several qualifying rounds, which Belozerov successfully passed. He quickly got a taste and became one of the strongest participants in the television project. Belozerov played in the show for several years. In 2011, he set a record by answering 46 questions in two rounds. Before Boris, no one was able to do this.

In parallel with his participation in "The smartest" Belozerov actively played in "What? Where? When?". Then, however, only at the school level. After participating in the Kandelaki show, he received an invitation to try his hand at the adult version of “What? Where? When?".

Youth

Belozerov left the walls of the Volgograd school with a gold medal. The young polymath decided to continue his studies in Moscow. On the first attempt, Boris becomes a student at the most prestigious university in the country - Lomonosov Moscow State University. Belozerov entered the Faculty of Physics. After the second year, he realized that he was mistaken with his future profession. Soon Boris became a student of an equally prestigious university - MGIMO. Within its walls, he began to study economics.

As a student, Belozerov got into another intellectual TV show - “What? Where? When? . He was offered to become not just one of the participants, but the team captain. The masters of the club did not take the youth seriously. However, Belozerov's team immediately began to show good results. And Boris himself, becoming the youngest captain in the history of the game, was also able to set a personal intellectual record. He won the super blitz and led his team to victory. Before him, only Andrei Kozlov managed to do this. In 2017, Boris became the owner of a crystal owl - the main prize of this intellectual show.
