The term "ecology" refers to the science of how living organisms interact with each other and with the environment. However, in a broader and more relevant sense, ecology is understood as issues of environmental protection. This happened largely because the impact of people on nature led to many negative consequences. And, in turn, ecology began to negatively affect human health.

Step 1

A person can do without much. However, he absolutely needs clean air, drinking water and food. Alas, as a result of the rapid growth of industry, as well as environmental pollution with all kinds of harmful waste (for example, industrial, transport, household), there are fewer and fewer places on Earth where clean air, water and soil are observed. A number of hazardous substances constantly enter the air and water sources, which after some time end up in the human body. Many of these substances have the ability to accumulate, which makes them particularly hazardous to health.

Step 2

Polluted air leads to a number of diseases, primarily the respiratory system. People living in industrial areas often have allergies, chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, and bronchial asthma. In the most severe cases, it comes down to lung cancer.

Step 3

Drinking water contaminated with hazardous waste poses a huge danger to people. According to environmental scientists, approximately 2/3 of all diseases on our planet can be caused by the use of poor-quality water. Of these, the most serious consequences are: genetic mutations, which cause the birth of children with various deviations from the norm; oncological diseases; diseases of the digestive system; diseases of the immune system; diseases of the reproductive system. This is why people use all kinds of water filters.

Step 4

The ingress of harmful substances into water and soil inevitably leads to their appearance in food, both plant and animal origin. And the use of such products, accordingly, greatly increases the risk of developing many diseases, including cancer. In addition, unfavorable ecology affects the human nervous system, making it highly irritated and aggressive.

Step 5

In a number of countries, environmental protection is of great importance. Among such states, first of all, it should be noted Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Norway. Unfortunately, there are many more countries where the ecology is in a deplorable state, and no changes for the better are foreseen yet. After all, the number of factories, machines, equipment that pollute the environment is increasing every year. And a person cannot yet prevent this process.
