Childhood
Eric Cantona was born on May 24, 1966 in the city of Marseille. He was born into a rather poor family of paramedics, Albert and Eleanor. Eric Cantona has four children. With Isabelle Ferrer, his first wife, he divorced, and soon married the French actress Rachida Brackney. Eric has two children from each marriage. In the film "Finding Eric" he played himself, and this film was nominated for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
In 2012, Eric loudly announced that he intended to run for the presidency of France, but, unfortunately, he never materialized his threat.
