Biography
The homeland of the famous musician is the city of Tambov. The future composer graduated from a music school there. In the music school of the city of Tambov, Chernavsky, in addition to his studies, plays the saxophone jazz in the quintet. Friends perform at discos and concerts. The first significant performance took place in Saratov, at a jazz festival.
Studying at the Conservatory and the Leningrad Institute of Culture is interrupted by frequent concerts and tours. Yuri Alexandrovich never finished his studies, touring took up a lot of time. The artist performed in such well-known collectives as the Azerbaijan Pop Symphony Orchestra headed by Muslim Magomayev, the collectives of Utesov and Lundstrem.
Famous composer's career
Since 1976, the famous musician has been promoting a new direction in music - jazz-rock. In the role of musical director and arranger, Chernavsky performs in well-known groups: Red Poppies, Carnival and Merry Guys. In 1981, Yuri Alexandrovich was one of the organizers of the rock group "Dynamic". The most famous creation of the rock band is the Banana Islands album.
At home, in a personal studio, compositions are recorded in a new direction, a combination of rock and electronic music. Chernavsky acts as a performer, his unique voice fits well with electronic music. The album Banana Islands and Automatic Kit were the result of hard work. Chernavsky himself was recognized as one of the best keyboard performers of 1983. And the songs "Hello, boy Bananana" and "Robot" become favorite among contemporaries. In the 80s, Chernavsky worked on the hits of famous pop performers.

Contemporary creativity

Chernavsky, together with his son Dmitry, creates the LA 3D Motion company. Work in computer graphics was used to create clips of such well-known bands as Backstreet Boys, Dance Jam, Rod Stewart.

Together with his family, Yuri Aleksandrovich lives in Beverly Hills. His wife Tatiana devoted herself to the family.
