In the early 80s, the young musician Selyunin seriously thought about creating his own rock band. The result of this quest was the Vykhod group, which was distinguished by its originality and original performance of rock compositions. The future rock musician was born on March 2, 1958 in Tallinn (Estonia). Serezha became interested in music at a young age, and he began to compose songs when he studied at the Leningrad University - it was in the late 70s. It so happened that Serezha showed one of the first songs to his father. The head of the family praised the music, but honestly admitted that the meaning of the words was not entirely clear to him. And this was not the notorious conflict of generations: it was just that Selyunin's parents retained their love for romances and operettas. But their son preferred Beatles and Led Zeppelin music more.
Selyunin took part in the activities of several student musical groups at once, where they played rock. During his student years, Selyunin had the opportunity to become a bard. But the theme of the bard song did not inspire respect in Sergei. He later admitted in an interview that he simply could not imagine himself as a performer of a soulful composition about the crocodile Gena and Cheburashka holding hands.
As a result of long-term creative searches of Selyunin and his friends, the rock group "Vykhod" was formed. Her debut took place in the spring of 1982, when Sergei Gennadievich and his partners performed together with "Strange Games" and "Kino" on the stage of the St. Petersburg rock club.

After several months of work, the Vykhod group released their first album, followed by several other similar musical projects.
In 1988, Selyunin, who by that time had received the nickname "Silya", moved to the capital of the USSR. Here he recruited a new composition of his team. In general, over the next two decades, several dozen musicians have played in Vyhod.
Critics do not call the success of Selyunin's group very noisy. But "Vyhod" has its own audience, consisting of true fans of the rock musician's work. Many of Selyunin's songs are successfully performed by other rock singers. Selyunin does not try to adhere to rigid frameworks in his work. Even the same composition performed by the "Exit" group can sound differently in different concerts: a lot depends on the instruments that are currently on the stage.
