The future famous member of the “What? Where? When? , A bard and popular TV presenter was born in Odessa on March 25, 1950. Boris's mother was a pediatrician, his father served in the army as an officer. At an early age, Burda traveled around the country with his family. For some time the family lived in Baku, then Boris again found himself in his hometown.
The future intellectual successfully graduated from one of the secondary schools in Odessa. He always studied excellently, subjects were given to him without difficulty. Burda learned to read at the age of four.
When the time came to decide on a future profession, Boris chose the Odessa "Polytechnic". He studied at the heat and power faculty. Burda graduated from the university with honors.

After graduating from university, Burda worked for some time as an engineer in the field of thermal power engineering. He retired from public activities at that time. Boris Oskarovich himself admitted that he learned to cook well in marriage with his first wife: she could not stand the very sight of the kitchen and everything related to cooking.
The success of the culinary program prompted her host to create a series of books dedicated to this topic. To date, nine books on culinary art have been published from Boris.
One of Boris Oskarovich's hobbies is music. He plays excellent guitar and sings well. Burda has taken part in bard gatherings and festivals more than once.
Personal life of Boris Burda
Boris Oskarovich was married twice. His first wife was the poet Bella Vernikova. He currently teaches philosophy at the University of Jerusalem. In this marriage, the spouses had a son, Vladislav. Now he is the head of a large holding in Ukraine.
In his second marriage, Burda became the father of another son - George, who is currently working in the United States as a programmer.
