Akimov Andrey Igorevich was born on September 22, 1953 in the family of a military engineer. Parents at that time lived in Leningrad. In 1975, a graduate economist, after a compulsory internship, was appointed to the position of Leading Specialist in Zurich. The branch of Vneshtorgbank was located in this Swiss city. For fourteen years Akim held positions of responsibility in the structure of this bank. When the perestroika processes began in the Union, it became clear that the country would go through difficult times. Just one step ahead of the turn of events, an experienced manager with a group of partners established the IMAG financial structure.
Later, Andrei Akimov put a lot of effort into consolidating the company in the European financial market. Among the clients and partners with whom it was necessary to do business and conclude transactions were the companies Agrochemexport and Kinex, the mayor's office of St. Petersburg and Severstal, and other commercial structures.
