Biography

Andrey Smolyakov was born in Podolsk in 1958. The family lived modestly, but they tried to teach the boy from childhood to art and took him to theatrical performances. Andrey showed talent for singing, and sports became one of his main hobbies. At the same time, he dreamed of becoming a highly specialized medical specialist - a neurosurgeon and stubbornly studied the subjects necessary for admission to a medical university.

Arriving in Moscow, Andrei Smolyakov was fascinated by the life of the capital and felt a surge of inspiration in himself. For the sake of interest, he tried to enter the Shchukin school, and unexpectedly he succeeded. The guy later changed his choice, going to study at GITIS and the workshop of Oleg Tabakov. In 1978, the aspiring artist made his theatrical debut. He showed himself incredibly talented in the performances "At the Bottom", "The Lyceum" and "Running" and many others.

In his student years, Smolyakov first starred in a film called "The Dawns Kiss". It was followed by the paintings "Zhurov", "Birthday of the Bourgeois" and several others, which were not particularly noticeable. In the early 2000s, the actor starred in the movie Escape and the TV series Two Fates. His career did not spoil him with significant roles, but Smolyakov was not upset about this: he was in fact completely devoted to the theatrical stage.

A new round of popularity came to Andrei Smolyakov in the early 2010s, when they began to invite him to the main roles in large-budget TV series. Such projects were "Godfather", "Executioner", "Spider", "Crime" and others. Smolyakov perfectly coped with the images of servants of the law and simply respectable citizens. Major success was brought by roles in Russian films that became hits of the film distribution: "Stalingrad", "Viking", "Moving Up" and "Trainer".

Personal life

Andrei Smolyakov first married at the dawn of his theatrical career, and the actress Svetlana Ivanova became his wife. They had a son, Dmitry, who later decided to follow in his father's footsteps and entered the Moscow Art Theater. The marriage itself did not last long and soon fell apart. The second wife of the artist was the fashion designer Daria Razumikhina, with whom he has mutual understanding in everything.

Smolyakov's career is now more active than ever. He is busy filming in the international project "Crime", the historical drama "We will not say goodbye", as well as the serial film "Return at any cost". The artist does not leave the theater stage either. In recent years, viewers have especially remembered the play "The Writer", staged based on the famous novel "A Clockwork Orange" by the Moscow "Theater of Nations".
