Should children believe in God, or should a young child be left with the right to decide in whom to believe? This is a controversial issue, depending on religious beliefs, adults try to answer it in different ways.
Instructions
Step 1
Faith fosters immunity to vices, evil, and violence. She creates a spiritual core for later life, provides answers to many questions. Show your children by example what is good and what is bad. Do not read the moral about the dangers of smoking by secretly inhaling on a cigarette. Children are too smart and sensitive to understand that you are deceiving them. And if you - the most dear person - can afford to blow up smoke rings, then why can't the child do this?
Step 2
Books are not only great for developing the imagination, but are also considered one of the best educators of spiritual values. From early childhood, read good books to your baby, including the Gospel with pictures. If you interest him in time, then the child will master reading much faster, and later will ask you for as much interesting and real literature as possible. He will learn to distinguish a good book from a bad one very quickly, and he will hardly want to read the "works" of narrow-minded authors.
Step 3
When sending a child to an Orthodox gymnasium, do not isolate him from communication with other children. Otherwise, sooner or later he will want to be friends with at least someone. Invite your children's friends to the house. This way you will know who he is communicating with. Do not be afraid that many of them are unbelievers, this does not mean that they are evil and ill-mannered. Instill a sense of responsibility and helping others.
Step 4
Talk to children more. In the church, tell us who is depicted on the icons, what the ministers are wearing, what this or that ceremony means. Don't ignore every why. Sing prayers together, so you can quickly learn them by heart. Do not do anything forcibly, let the child himself delve into your story. Remember, the more pressure, the stronger the resistance.
