Biography
Valery was born in 1953 in Moscow, but grew up in North Ossetia. It was there that he completed his studies at the school, having studied musical skills. A family
The conductor's father is a WWII veteran and the commander of an entire battalion. Mother of the conductor - Lagkueva Tamara Timofeevna. The conductor also has two sisters - Tamara and Larisa. The couple have three children. This is the son of Abisal, born first and named after his grandfather. Abisal was born in 2000. The parents named their second son, born in 2001, Valery (in honor of the father), and their daughter Tamara became the third child in 2003. Awards and titles
Valery Georgiev, being one of the outstanding directors of the Mariinsky Theater, was officially awarded a large number of various titles and awards for everything he did for art and its movement. Valery Georgiev is the official founder of the charity fund. Sergey Mazanov has now become the director of this charitable foundation.
