The virtuoso guitarist, arranger and composer Valery Didyulya is both a music producer and founding leader of the "DiDyuLa" group. He performs both folk music and fusion with a touch of new age.
Valery Mikhailovich received his first guitar at the age of five as a gift from his parents. At the same time, experiments began with the sound of the instrument.
Way to success
The biography of the future celebrity began in 1970. The child was born in Grodno on January 24. Since childhood, music has surrounded the boy. He learned to play the guitar himself. However, the classical style of playing quickly bored the young musician, and he began to search for a new one.
Valery made amplifiers, put sensors on the instrument, making the sound of the compositions unique. The schoolboy gave guitar lessons, having decided to become a professional performer in the future. Didula became a member of the Belarusian ensemble Alye Zori, but the group quickly broke up.
The beginning vocalist and guitarist moved to White Dew as a sound engineer. The guys toured all over the world, in Spain Valery first heard the flamenco that conquered him. The special sound of the instrument amazed the experimenter. Didula took part in music street projects during his stay in Spain.
Confession
Soon, they moved to Minsk, where they started working as a seller in a muzmagazin. Valery did not stop studying music, visited recording studios. The first notable step towards recognition was participation in the "Slavianski Bazaar". Didulia's work differed from the usual compositions by a combination of electro and folk music, originality and novelty.
After moving to Moscow, a recording studio was created, work on discs began. The first album was called Isadora. A clip was soon shot for one of his compositions. The performer became recognizable. The contract with him was signed by the label "Global Music".
In 2002, the artist starred as a guitarist in Andrei Konchalovsky's film House of Fools. The new collection appeared in 2005. Energetic melodies were the highlight of "Colored Dreams". The repertoire was constantly updated with new creations. Collaboration with “Nox Music” and shooting a video with the ballet “Todes” became a new success.
Family and creativity
The creative ideas were realized in the album “The Road to Baghdad”, the real diamond of which was “Satin Shores”. The show in the Kremlin took place in 2011. A few years later, the musician presented the program "Time Heals" in Jurmala.
In 2016 and 2017, fans were delighted with both the new discs and Diluli's next experiments. There was a presentation of the "golden" collections of hits, which were selected by the music lovers themselves. Then there was a concert "The Road of Six Strings" accompanied by an instrumental ensemble broadcast on television. In 2019, the guitarist presented the album "The Seventh Sense".
The personal life of Valery Mikhailovich did not immediately develop. The marriage with the first chosen one, Leila, could not save even the appearance of the baby. A few years later, the couple broke up. Evgeniya (Evgenika), who later became Didulia's wife, works in his musical collective. Their daughter Arina is growing up in their family.
