Konstantin Leonidovich has been working as a hematologist at the Morozov Children's City Clinical Hospital. Since 2010, the husband of Galina Yuryevna Gagarina is an associate professor at the Department of Oncology, Hematology and Immunology at the Pediatric Faculty of the Russian National Research Medical University named after Nikolai Ivanovich Pirogov. Konstantin Leonidovich teaches hematology oncology to students of the pediatric faculty.
Galina and Konstantin had a son in 1989, whom they gave the name Yuri to honor the memory of his famous grandfather. Yuri Konstantinovich graduated from Moscow State University and received an economic education. In 2017, he ran for the Council of Deputies of the Khamovniki municipal district.
