Iveta Mukuchan is a singer, model and actress from Armenia. At the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Sweden, she played for her country.
Biography
Iveta Mukuchan was born on October 14, 1986 in Yerevan. Place of birth: Yerevan. In connection with the collapse of the Soviet Union, Iveta's family decided to move to Germany for permanent residence, where the girl lived from the age of six. Fluent in Armenian and German.
In Hamburg, the future singer entered a Catholic school, then successfully graduated from it. As a teenager, Iveta began to take part in advertising photo shoots, the first earnings appeared.
In 2009, on the advice of his relatives, Iveta returned to Yerevan. At the age of 23, she entered the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory, where she studied jazz vocal.
Participation in a TV show
In 2010, Iveta successfully passed the casting for the “Armenian Superstar” song contest, in which the girl took the honorable fifth place. Considering the fact that on a professional level, Iveta studied vocals for only a year, this result was excellent. In the same year, the singer received the honorary prize "Discovery of Armenia".
After two years, Mukuchan decides to take part in the casting of the German Voice, especially for this purpose she goes to Germany. In blind auditions, the girl performed with Loreen's song "Euphoria", Xavier Curt Naidu became her mentor, but in the third round Iveta dropped out of the project.

According to El-Style magazine, in 2012, Iveta was named the sexiest woman in Armenia.
On October 13, 2015, the organizers of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 made an official announcement, in which it was reported that Iveta Mukuchan would represent Armenia in Stockholm. In the competition, the girl appeared under the seventh number, which she considers lucky for herself. It is noteworthy that in the end she received the seventh place. On the first line was Jamala with the hit "1944". The second place was taken by the Australian singer Dami Im, the third place of honor was taken by Sergey Lazarev, a popular Russian singer.
The singer wrote the song LoveWave herself in collaboration with Levon and Lilit Navasardian, and Stephanie Crafchfield also took part in the creation of the song. One of the roles in the video for this composition was played by Swedish actor Ben Dahlhaus.
Later, the singer decided to take the pseudonym Iva La Diva.
Model business
By her first education, Iveta is a model designer, the girl devotes time to this profession. The singer is sure that after she achieves some success in show business and makes a certain contribution to the development of pop music in Armenia, she will start designing closely.
Twice a year, in spring and autumn, Iveta comes to Germany, participates in fashion shows as a model, assists her younger sister Marianne in creating collections of handmade accessories. By the way, Marianna works as a beautician and stylist.
Songs and films
Participation in Golos was a kind of start for Iveta. She began to actively record singles in the studio. The full format album has not yet been released, but her repertoire includes several successful compositions that undoubtedly deserve attention. One of them is the song "Right Way to Love". The next Iveta recorded the song "Summer Rain", in the video for this song you can see the peculiarities of the national holiday Vardavar.
In collaboration with DJ Serzho, the singer recorded the song “Ari Yar”, which is translated from Armenian as “Come beloved”. So, the old folk song found a second life, the listeners were able to appreciate it at its true worth. Another composition by Mukuchan, which fans really liked, was "Simple Like a Flower", performed in the jazz style.
