It is very difficult to surprise the modern viewer or reader. When a cardiologist becomes a writer, this metamorphosis can be considered quite normal. Maxim Osipov successfully combines two areas of activity - medicine and literature.
Childhood and youth
Some time ago, in the circles of the Soviet intelligentsia, there was a heated discussion about who is more valuable to the fatherland - lyrics or physics. An unambiguous answer has not yet been found. And long-term practice suggests that this division does not have clear criteria. Maxim Alexandrovich Osipov studied at a school with a physical and mathematical bias. He has repeatedly emerged as the winner of mathematical Olympiads. For all formal parameters, the boy was promised a career as an engineer or theoretical physicist. However, events rolled in a completely different direction.
The future doctor and writer was born on October 4, 1963 in an intelligent Soviet family. Parents lived in Moscow. Father, Alexander Maryanin, member of the Writers' Union, prose writer. Mother worked as a history teacher at the university. The boy grew up and developed in favorable conditions. I learned to read early. Already in preschool age I read all the books that were on the lower shelves of the shelves. Maxim studied well at school. When the time came to choose a profession, he decided to get a specialized education at the famous 2nd Moscow Medical Institute.
Creative activity
Maxim has successfully completed the training course. Completed residency, postgraduate studies and defended his Ph. D. thesis. By that time, the year was 1991. The young scientist was invited for an internship in the USA. All the necessary conditions for scientific creativity were created for the doctor from Russia. Osipov justified the hopes of the overseas curators - together with his American colleague, he wrote the monograph "Clinical Echocardiography". Two years later, returning to his native shores, Maxim Alexandrovich published this book. This was the first test of strength in the publishing business.
In partnership with close friends, Osipov established a publishing house called Praktika. Accepted for the production of books on medicine, music and theology. In 2005, Maxim was invited to the post of chief physician of the hospital, which was located in the city of Tarusa. By that time, Osipov had already missed the medical business and accepted the offer. For five years, he ran a publishing house, organized the treatment process in the clinic and wrote literary texts. In 2010, the publishing house had to be closed.
Recognition and privacy
In 2007, Osipov's first stories appeared on the pages of the Znamya magazine. His writing career was developing successfully, and Maxim, as an author, remained faithful to this magazine for a long time. Later, his stories began to be published both in Russia and abroad. Plays are staged in theaters in Omsk and St. Petersburg. A three-volume collection of works in English was published in New York.
The personal life of a cardiologist has developed well. He is legally married. The husband and wife raised a daughter named Maryana.
