Lorenzo Pellegrini is a young Italian footballer playing as a midfielder. At 22, he plays in one of the top clubs in Italy, and also defends the national colors of his country's national team.
Biography
The future footballer was born in June 1996 in the Italian capital Rome. From an early age, he began to get involved in football and dreamed of one day being among those who will play for the national team. Young Lorenzo was very lucky, and he was able to get into the academy of the prestigious Roman club. By the age of nine, he started playing for the youth team of the famous Roma.
Career
Lorenzo spent ten years in the youth team. The promising footballer grew before our eyes, almost immediately he became a regular player in the academy. The debut for the professional team at Pellegrini took place in 2015. At the end of the season, in the match against Cesena in the 67th minute, he came on as a substitute. This was the only match he played since leaving the youth team for Roma. Despite impressive results in the academy, the coach of the main team did not find a place for him on the field, as there were enough more experienced players.
Already in June of the same year, Lorenzo left the Roman club and moved to the provincial club of Serie A "Sassuolo". In the new team, he came in handy and immediately took a place in the first team. For two seasons, regularly entering the field, his actions often decided the outcome of matches. In total, in the form of "Sassuolo" Lorenzo Pelegrinni played 47 matches and even scored nine goals.
Despite the fact that the club plays in the most prestigious tournament in Italy, its level cannot be compared with that of the Italian giants. Pellegrini did not have to count on trophies and cups, and the best result for the team was to maintain a place in Serie A.
In June 2017, Sassuolo and Roma agreed on a return transfer, and Pellegrini returned to his hometown. In two fruitful years, the value of a promising footballer has grown almost tenfold. The amount that the Roman club gave for its pupil was ten million euros.
In recent years, the Roman club is going through hard times, many veterans have retired, and top-level players have left for other clubs. This situation proved to be useful for Pellegrini, after his return he almost immediately became a player in the starting lineup and regularly contributes to the game from the first minutes. In two incomplete seasons, he played 45 matches, in which he scored five goals.
From the same 2017, the coach of the Italian national team began to declare Lorenzo as a national team player. For two years, the athlete played six matches in the colors of the national team. The footballer played his first match for Italy in May, entering the field in a friendly against San Marino.

Lorenzo Pellegrini is married to Veronica Martinelli. The wedding celebrations took place in mid-2018.
