The Silver Galosh is an award established by the Silver Rain radio station for dubious merits. Anfisa Chekhova, Leonid Tyagachev and Vitaly Mutko, Dima Bilan, Ivanushki International, Anastasia Volochkova and many other iconic figures of show business and politics became its owners in different years.
Every year the radio "Silver Rain" searches for the most "dubious" ideas and achievements of the year among Russian celebrities. The "Silver Galosh" began with awards for "Plagiarism of the Year". This nomination remained unchanged until the 2012 ceremony. But every year the award is increasingly moving on a political track, and at the 16th "Kalosha" all the awards went to politicians, journalists, and various social activists.

Vladimir Gundyaev, better known to Russians as Patriarch Kirill, won this nomination. The award was presented to him for "the immaculate disappearance of the watch."
