Alexey Gorshenev is a Russian musician, songwriter, composer and soloist of his own group "Kukryniksy", whose work belongs to the punk rock genre.
Biography
Alexey Yurievich Gorshenev was born on October 3, 1975, in the city of Birobidzhan. He was the second child in the family, two years earlier Mikhail Gorshenev was born in the family. From early childhood, the brothers were instilled with a love of music, my mother often played the piano, and the boys sang. The family was very fond of music. But Alexey hated classes, he did not like to sing and literally hated the huge accordion on which he had to play. When a guitar appeared in the house, the boy's attitude towards music changed. He mastered the playing skills on his own, he really liked to play the guitar, he even tried to write his own songs.
The father of the family was a military man, and because of this, the family often had to move. At the time of graduation from high school, the Gorshenev brothers lived in Leningrad. Having received a certificate, Alexey entered college. The elder brother Mikhail already had his own musical group "The King and the Fool", which as a result became a cult. At the invitation of his brother, Alexei begins to play drums in a group in his free time. "The King and the Fool" even recorded one album with both Gorshenevs. Then the younger was drafted into the army. After serving two years, the guy did not want to return to the famous senior team. He already had his own ambitions.
Career
In early 1997, Alexei Gorshenev gathers his group, which he decided to name in honor of the famous trio of artists "Kukryniksy". The first appearance on the stage was on May 26 of the same year in the St. Petersburg club "Polygon", which is popular among young people. In the fall of the same year, the group took part in the concert "Skaznik Skomorokh", which was organized by Alexei's elder brother and leader of the "King and the Fool" group Mikhail Gorshenev.
In 1999 the group recorded and released their debut album called "Kukryniksy". The album includes 12 compositions, one of which, "No problem", immediately liked the grateful audience and became a hit. Later, a music video was made for this song.
Throughout the history of the Kukryniksy group, 13 albums have been recorded, the last one, Artist, was released in 2016. To date, the group has ceased to exist, before the anniversary of the team, a large tour of the country was announced with farewell concerts, in which the performance at the "Invasion" in 2018 put the big point.
After the termination of the group's activities, Alexey announced a new project "Gorshenev", as well as a solo album "Love Letters of the Great".
Personal life
Alexey Gorshenev does not like to talk about his family, and even more so to give interviews on this score. It is only known that, together with his wife Alla, he is raising a son, Cyril.
