Yuri Galtsev is an extraordinary, talented and hardworking artist. He was named Yuri not by chance, but on the recommendation of representatives of the city committee, since the date of birth coincided with the first flight of a Soviet man into space (April 12, 1961).
A family
The artist grew up in a complete family: father, mother, brother. The boy received all-round development from his father Nikolai Afanasyevich Galtsev. The boy's dad was a responsible worker, and was awarded state awards. He worked as the director of a plant of reinforced concrete products, taught his son to hunt, fish, tourist wisdom, the ability to use a tool. His love for music was also instilled by his father, who owned many instruments. Mom - Raisa Grigorievna Galtseva, tried herself in many professions. Career
Yuri devoted his school years to getting an education in an ordinary school N 31 of the city of Kurgan and a music school, where he studied accordion. Later he mastered the skill of playing the seven- and six-string guitar. The first song was written in high school. The young man was interested in foreign rock bands, bought records with his money earned from the age of 13.
After school, he served in the ranks of the armed forces in the city of Chebarkul, Chelyabinsk region. Has the rank of major in reserve. During his service, he showed his acting talent, playing the Snow Maiden for the New Year.
Yuri received his technical specialty at the Kurgan Machine-Building Institute from 1978-1983. There, the actor headed an agitation and theatrical project, was a member of the VIA Truvers. The technical specialty left the young man indifferent, he wanted to engage in acting. In 1988, in Leningrad, he graduated from the Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography in the direction of musical and speech stage, where the course leader was I. R. Stockbant. Buff became the first theater for Yuri. After graduation, he appeared in productions of the theaters "Farsi" and "Litsedei". In Yuri's arsenal there are more than 15 roles in theatrical productions. 1995 was marked by receiving an award for participation in the French competition "Rubber Face". Achieved success in cinema. He made his debut in Jack the Eight - American, where he met his second wife. He starred in 60 films and TV series. Took part in New Year's staged film adaptations. Yuri imparts mastery by lecturing at the Academy of Theater Arts in St. Petersburg. In 2008 he headed the Variety Theater named after Arkady Raikin.

Outwardly attractive, Galtsev was successful with women. At the age of under twenty, he first got married, but he broke up. The son of his first wife is Mikhail Yurievich Galtsev.
In his second marriage, Yuri is happy to this day. Irina Rakshina, being the wife of an actor, is an actress by profession. 1990 was marked by the Galtsevs with the birth of their daughter Maria.
