Family, early years
Sergey Lvovich was born on August 31, 1963, place of birth - Balti, Moldova. Sergei's father worked as an investigator in the prosecutor's office, his mother was a teacher. One more child was growing up in the family - the girl Natasha.
Sergei's early childhood was spent in Balti, later the family began to live in Zaporozhye (Ukraine). The boy showed early musical abilities, he sang in the choir.
Later Rogozhin began to attend the actor's studio at the Youth Theater, dreamed of working in a musical theater. After graduating from school, Sergei tried 3 times to enter a theater university, but to no avail.
On the advice of a member of the examination committee, Rogozhin decided to try his hand in St. Petersburg, where he managed to achieve his goal. Soon he moved from the faculty of acting to the faculty of directors at the Krupskaya Institute, from which he graduated in 1987.
Creative biography
After graduating from high school, Rogozhin worked in the Youth Theater in Zaporozhye. But he became popular, performing in the group "AuktsYon", where he was a soloist. The collective was often invited to rock festivals and holiday concerts.
Rogozhin worked in the AuktsYon group for 2 years, then moved to the Forum group, which at that time was on the verge of collapse. Thanks to Sergei, the team did not break up, but became popular. With the song "On the Neighboring Street" the group took part in the final of "Songs-88".
In 1991 "Forum" became the winner of the competition of the festival "Shlyager-91", the audience was won over by Rogozhin's vocals. The next year, at the same competition, Sergei was awarded the "Grand Prix", he also got the Audience Award.
The album "Black Dragon" by the "Forum" group was recorded in 1992. In the next 2 years, 2 more albums "Black Eyes" and "Summer Winter" were released. In total, Rogozhin recorded 6 collections as part of the group. The musicians have had many tours in the CIS and abroad.
In 1991, the recording studio "Forum Unistudiya" was opened, on which albums were recorded not only by this group, but also by other performers. In 2009 Rogozhin Sergey and Saltykov Viktor, who were soloists in the "Forum" in different years, recorded a joint album Old Kings Of The Pop, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the group.
Rogozhkin also starred in several films (Streets of Broken Lanterns, Liteiny 4, Mongoose Agency), where he got the roles of minor characters.
In the late 90s, the artist went into business, he began to engage in consulting on life insurance, financial planning. In 1999 Rogozhin became Product Sales Manager at SI Save-Invest Ltd (Switzerland), later he was appointed Marketing and Sales Director.
