Biography
Nikolai Parfenov was born in 1912 in the small village of Sergiev-Gorki, Vladimir Region. His family was large, but quite wealthy: the father of the future actor managed to get a job as a sailor on a large ship, making a decent fortune on this. Even the 1917 revolution did not interfere: after it, the enterprising head of the family headed the flax mill, but soon died suddenly.
The family left without a breadwinner suffered a new grief in the form of the onset of dispossession of the peasants. Mother and children were separated, resettled to distant relatives. Once in Moscow, Nikolai Ivanovich worked at a factory, but in the end he decided to enter a theater school, which he did. After graduation, the young actor began working at the Theater. Mossovet. In 1944, Nikolai Parfenov made his film debut, starring in the film "Native Fields". Nikolai Parfenov was married twice. The first wife was the actress Olga Vasilyeva, whom the actor met in his student years.
