The sum of technologies - this is how you can briefly describe the modern filmmaking. Yes, the actors get used to the image and continue to memorize the texts. However, this is only a small part of the technological process. Complex tricks, if written in the script, are performed by stuntmen. Instead of real nature, virtual landscapes are created using computer graphics. Andrei Rostotsky did not use the services of understudies. I didn’t use it out of principle, like a real man, confident in his abilities.

The path to the profession

According to people who have lived to old age, the most difficult thing at the start of life is to choose a profession and a faithful companion. It is good when a person from birth has kind and strict mentors - parents. Andrei Rostotsky was born into a famous family. The child's father is a renowned director. Mother is an actress. At the same time, Andrei wrote his biography on his own. From a young age, the boy lived in an atmosphere of creative search. I was present at the conversations of the elders, of whom I did not understand everything, but the main thing.

Despite the fame of his parents, Andrei always tried to emphasize his own importance. Small in stature, as they say, a meter with a cap, he made the courtyard authorities respect himself, who were older and stronger than him. He quickly understood how the street lives and how to behave in extreme situations. If you show weakness once, then even the younger and frail ones will “bale” you. Rostotsky Jr. was not considered a bully and did not go with a revolver, but the boys respected him. At the same time, Andrei studied at a school with in-depth study of the English language and was quite successful.

As a student of the tenth grade, in 1974, he began to attend acting courses, in the status of a free listener, which were taught by VGIK professor Sergei Bondarchuk. Having received a certificate of maturity, he continued his studies in order to consolidate the professional education of a film and theater actor. Acting career began as a student. Andrey was invited to the main role in the film "We Didn't Pass It". It was during the first filming that Rostotsky found out "how much is it a penny" in the profession he chose. Of course, he did not quit his job. Moreover, his performance in the film was awarded a special prize.

Pictures and roles

For the first time, Andrei starred as a stuntman with his institute teacher Sergei Bondarchuk. In the film They Fought for the Motherland, Rostotsky throws himself under a tank with a grenade. For all its simplicity, this is a dangerous trick. This fact is confirmed by the fact that over the past period of time none of the stuntmen have done something like that. The time has come and the certified actor was called up to serve in the armed forces. In 1978 he was enrolled in the Separate Cavalry Unit, which was quartered in the Moscow region.

It seemed that love of risk leads Rostotsky along a steep route. While in the service, the actor starred in the film "Flying Hussars Squadron." On his favorite horse named Record, he took first place in the competition in honor of Victory Day. The actor was allowed to use the horse in the work on the tape "The End of the Taiga Emperor". With the transition of the film industry to market rails, Rostotsky created the commercial structure "DAR". He works hard, not forgetting about the family.

Andrei's personal life was not very smooth. The first marriage with actress Marina Yakovleva broke up three years later. There is no point in expanding on the reasons. The second time Rostotsky married a neighbor. The husband and wife had known each other for a long time. And even lived next door. It just so happened that they started a family later than it could have happened. In 1989, the Rostotskys had a daughter. By an inexplicable accident, Andrei Rostotsky died while inspecting the location for the filming of a new film. The tragedy happened on May 5, 2002.
