Mikhail Zadornov is a popular satirist, Member of the Writers' Union. He is the author of some hypotheses in the field of the history of the Slavs, the etymology of Russian words. All of them were sharply criticized by scientists.
early years
Mikhail was born in Jurmala on July 21, 1948. His father was an actor. Then he became a writer and was awarded the Stalin Prize for his work "Cupid Father". Mother was a housewife. Thanks to his father, the boy became interested in literature.
Zadornov studied at school number 10, which was considered prestigious. The boy attended the drama club with pleasure, often performed at various events. Later Misha organized a miniature theater.
After school, Zadornov studied at the Aviation Institute in Moscow. In 1974 he received his diploma in mechanical engineering. Then Mikhail worked at the Moscow Aviation Institute for 4 years, becoming a leading specialist.
Creative biography
Zadornov's creative activity began with the creation of the propaganda theater "Russia" (1974), whose work was awarded the Lenin Komsomol Prize. In parallel, Mikhail was engaged in writing. His first works were published in "Youth".
In 1982, Zadornov first appeared on television. The monologue "The Ninth Car" brought popularity, which became the hallmark of the humorist. In the 80s, Mikhail Ivanovich was the author of texts for other performers.
Zadornov himself also appeared in humorous programs. In 1988, a collection of stories "Line 15 thousand meters long" was published, and later the work "The Mystery of the Blue Planet" appeared.
Mikhail Nikolayevich managed to make friends with Boris Yeltsin, they often played tennis. The satirist was given an apartment in a prestigious building, where not only Yeltsin lived, but also other major officials.
In the nineties, Zadornov was a screenwriter, actor. His famous work is the film I Want Your Husband. In 1997, a four-volume edition appeared with the best works of Mikhail Nikolaevich.
Since 2000, new humorous programs have been regularly released. An "American" theme appeared in the monologues. In 2012, Zadornov's pseudo-documentary film “Rurik. Lost reality."
For his work, Mikhail Nikolaevich became the owner of many awards. Zadornov opened a library, which he named after his father. He helped Maxim Galkin in his career. The satirist was also friends and collaborated with Nikita Mikhalkov.
Zadornov died on November 10, 2017, he was 69 years old. Earlier, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Personal life
Zadornov had one official marriage. His wife was Kalnberzina Velta, daughter of the former secretary of the Central Committee of the Latvian Communist Party. He and Mikhail studied at the same school and MAI. The wedding took place in the early seventies. The family was considered friendly, but the spouses did not have children.
In the late 80s, Mikhail Zadornov met with Elena Bombina. She worked as an administrator at a festival where the comedian participated. The novel went into a civil marriage, in 1990 a daughter appeared, who was also named Elena. As an adult, she graduated from RATI-GITIS.
