The marriage lasted four years and ended in divorce. Amanda, like her famous father, became an actress and maintains an excellent relationship with her father.
The second wife is journalist Patricia Lewis. Christopher became her husband in 1962. This marriage also did not last too long: after five years, Plummer and Lewis separated.
Three years later, the actor remarried to actress Elaine Taylor. They have been together for almost forty years and are happily married.
