Rashid grew up as a cheerful and sociable child, demonstrating his musical abilities from an early age.
Beibutov studied easily at school. All items were given to him without much effort. At the same time, Rashid devoted most of his time to amateur performances. Parents did not really want their son to become an artist. A man should have a reliable profession in his hands. Not daring to argue with his elders, Rashid, after graduating from school, entered the railway technical school. However, the temperament and creativity of the talented young man did their job. Beibutov, already in his first year, organized an amateur student ensemble.
Professional activity
Rashid did not manage to get his diploma in railway transport. He was drafted into the ranks of the armed forces. In the army, Beibutov was immediately assigned to the army ensemble. The time spent in this team was not wasted. The young performer sang popular songs of Soviet composers and folk songs of the Transcaucasian republics - Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia. Returning to civilian life, Rashid passed a creative competition and became a soloist of the State Jazz Orchestra of Armenia. During the war, Beibutov gave concerts in front of soldiers on the Crimean front.
Despite the war years, it was decided to shoot the film "Arshin Mal-Alan" at the Baku Film Studio. Beibutov was approved for the main role. This cheerful and upbeat picture was an overwhelming success. The tape was dubbed in eighty-six languages. In the postwar years, Rashid served in the Baku Philharmonic Society, and then in the Azerbaijan Opera and Ballet Theater.
