In any state, the right of citizens to a quiet life is ensured by specialized structures. In Russia, the main burden of maintaining order is borne by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. For many years this complex "economy" was headed by Rashid Gumarovich Nurgaliev.
Starting conditions
Boys at all times dreamed and will dream of military service. There is nothing surprising or unusual in this. Children are attracted by the beautiful shape and the ability to wield weapons. In this sense, Rashid Gumarovich Nurgaliev was lucky. The child was born on October 8, 1956 in the family of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Parents at that time served in the Kostanay region of Kazakhstan. His father, in the rank of captain, served as an operative. Mother worked as a doctor.
After a while, the head of the family was transferred to a new duty station in Karelia. When the time came, Rashid went to school. He studied well. I was friends with my classmates. He went in for sports and participated in social events. In 1974 he received a certificate of maturity. At the family council, it was decided that it would be best for the young man to get an education at the famous Petrozavodsk State University. In 1979, after completing his studies, Nurgaliev returned to his place of residence in the village of Nadvoitsy and began to teach physics in secondary school.
Nurgaliev's biography could have developed differently. Communicating with students and parents, the physics teacher observed how people live in the village, what they dream about and what goals they set for themselves. The ability to communicate with people did not go unnoticed. In 1981, Rashid Gumarovich was invited to the KGB system. From that moment on, the career of the future Minister of Internal Affairs took shape gradually, without disruptions and emergencies.
Service activities
There is nothing surprising in the fact that the first years Nurgaliev spent the day and slept at the service. The bosses set tasks and demanded a prompt solution. And in everyday life, situations often arose that had to be responded to as soon as possible. Endurance and the ability to calculate possible options set Rashid Nurgaliev apart from his colleagues. A few years later he was transferred to the central office of the FSB. In Moscow, the load was several times greater than in the periphery.
In 1998, Nurgaliev was appointed head of the department for combating illegal drug trafficking and smuggling. The next place of service is the main control department of the Presidential Administration of the country. In the fall of 2003, the executive officer was transferred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs to the post of deputy minister. And already in March 2004, Colonel-General Nurgaliev took the post of minister. For more than eight years he was in charge of the ministry.
Personal life
Rashid Nurgaliev's personal life can be told in a nutshell. He got married while still a student. Never got divorced. Mutual respect and love have always reigned in the house. The husband and wife raised and raised two sons. The children followed in their father's footsteps - both wear military uniforms.
