Aniuar Geduev - silver medalist of the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Russian wrestler, gold medalist of the European Games in Baku, Honored Master of Sports.
The famous athlete was born on January 26 in the Kabardino-Balkarian village of Psygansu in 1987. From the age of eleven, the boy began to practice freestyle wrestling.
Carier start
Aniuar came to his first training session with his older brother Alim. Immediately the boy suffered a setback: he was seriously injured in the first sparring.
Aniuaru's right arm was broken, but the injury did not stop the young athlete. The first coach of the wrestler Arsen Khasanov could quickly see excellent prospects in the boy.
He told Geduev's family that their son was the only one in a thousand. The novice athlete had to combine training with study.
However, everything succeeded thanks to the support of relatives and friends. It is to them that he, according to him, owes his achievements. The junior sports career was not always successful.
The wrestler did not take part in youth competitions: he constantly received severe injuries. The wrestler later called this stage his "black stripe".

Sports achivments
The first major achievement of the young wrestler was a bronze medal in 2009 from the Russian championship in the category up to 74 kg. In 2010, the athlete won the World Cup.
At the Ramazan Kadyrov Cup, Aniuar took second place, and at the Ivan Yarygin Grand Prix he took third. Silver Championship of Russia 2011 was marked by the next stage of the wrestling biography.
After a fight with Adam Saitiev in 2012, Geduev was condemned in the quarterfinals of the national championship. His opponent won the victory. After that, Aniuar almost parted with sports. However, he still managed to cool down soon.
In 2013, Geduev represented Russia at the European Championship held in Tbilisi. There, the athlete received his first gold, showing the highest class.

Personal life
The athlete does not make family life public. He is married.
The wife's name is Zalina. The large family has two sons and a daughter: Idar, Yasmina and Rasim.
Despite his great affection for his wife and children, Aniuar avoids taking pictures of his relatives in social networks. He devotes all achievements to his family, for the sake of his family he strives to achieve everything in sports.
On June 14, the athlete was informed about the birth of a child upon arrival in Baku for the 2015 World Cup. He admitted that he wanted to win quickly and go home to see the child and his wife.
In 2017, Geduev received an invitation to represent Iran among the clubs at the World Freestyle Wrestling Championships. For the first time, a category of up to 79 kg was introduced there. This interested the famous wrestler.
With a height of 175 cm, he weighs 82 kg. Before, for each competition, Aniuar had to drive too much. The training included special food, running.

In 2018, and in March, Ulan-Uda hosted a tournament for the prize of the head of Buryatia. From there, Aniuar had to withdraw ahead of schedule due to severe pain at the site of a serious injury he had received earlier. The famous wrestler did not dare to risk before the April world championship.
But the Russian team could not get to these competitions. Due to the denial of American visas, the Russians were unable to get to Iowa City.
Geduev took part in a trip to the cities of Yakutia. The Alrosa Mood festival was held there. In the company of colleagues, Aniuar conducted master classes for beginners and took part in competitions.
