If your long-awaited parcel is still missing, you can try to track the route of any postal item using a special service provided by the Russian Post.
Instructions
Step 1
Each postal item, be it a registered letter, a valuable parcel post or a parcel, is assigned a specific identification number. It can be seen on the check that must be issued upon receipt of this postal item. Having learned this number, try to find the parcel as follows: go to the official website of the Russian Post and go to the section for tracking postal items
Step 2
Enter the identification number in the required field and click the "Find" button. A table will open in front of you, in which there will be detailed information on what day and at what time this letter or parcel arrived at this or that sorting point, when it left it and where it went further. It will also list all post offices that your package has visited. This data will greatly help facilitate your search.
Step 3
If your postal item went to Ukraine or Belarus, you can use the following search services: for Ukraine https://www.ukrposhta.com/www/upost.nsf/search_post?openpage, for Belarus - https://search.belpost.by/. Enter the digits of the identification number without spaces or other symbols in the indicated fields and click the "Search" button. Finding the information you need will not be difficult abroad either
Step 4
Remember that on weekends and holidays, the post office works in a slower mode, so if the day of receipt of your parcel falls on this time, the postal item may be delayed.
Step 5
If the package takes too long and you cannot find it, write a statement and take it to the main post office in your city. The reason for the delay may be incorrectly filled in data when sending, the lack of a zip code or excess weight.
