Oleg Georgievich Averin is a Russian rock musician, composer and performer, a former soloist of the once famous ensemble "Belarusian Pesnyary", who wrote many songs for pop stars of that era and released five solo albums.
Biography
Oleg was born in the summer of 1961 in the town of Magnitogorsk. The family of mining engineer Georgy Averin already had a daughter, Svetlana. Already in early childhood, the son showed an interest in musical creativity, and at the age of seven he was sent to a music school to study the piano. And two years later, after the family moved to Brest, Oleg received a diploma for the "Autumn Waltz" he composed.
The boy often sang himself and with his sister at all kinds of amateur music competitions. At the age of 14, Oleg Averin was invited to television, where he sang the song "About the Brest Fortress", the words and music to which he wrote himself. He performed as a soloist in a school musical group, and was also a pianist and soloist in an orchestra at a music school.
After receiving his secondary education, Averin applied to the Civil Engineering Institute. Despite the fact that he became a popular musician, his engineering degree was very useful to him in a difficult financial period - when Oleg Georgievich had a son, he had to work in his specialty for some time.
In 1976, Oleg Georgievich created his own group, calling it "The Golden Mean", and in 1981 he went to serve in the army, where he became the leader of the battalion vocal and instrumental ensemble. In a word, all childhood and adolescence of the talented guy was devoted to music.
Career
Since 1983, having mobilized from the army, Oleg has come to grips with his group. If earlier in the repertoire of the team there were many other people's hits, now "Golden Mean" performed exclusively "Averinskie" songs, many of which became popular. The guys took part in festivals in Poland, Germany, Belarus, and in 1986 they received the Lenin Komsomol prize for the concert program "Rock against rockets" at the festival in the city of Novopolotsk.
By the nineties, the group broke up, and Oleg Averin began writing songs for Russian pop stars. His works are in the repertoire of Orbakaite, Babkina, Presnyakov, "Syabrov", the group "NA-NA" and others.
Since 1993, Averin has become a member of Pesnyary, and five years later 8 musicians separated and created their own ensemble Belarusian Pesnyary, whose repertoire includes many of Oleg's songs.
Since the two thousandth, Averin has been engaged not only in music. He writes poetry and fairy tales for children, begins to release solo albums. His debut collection "In the Sky" was released in 2004. Since then, the musician has released five albums.
Personal life
Oleg met his wife Valentina in the early 80s, when she, a young journalist, interviewed him. The couple got married in 1986 and they have been together ever since. According to the musician himself, every year he falls in love anew with his wife, who became his reliable support in everything and gave birth to her famous husband's son Seryozha.
