Fiery passion
At all times, boys dream of exploits and glory. Aspirations of this kind do not arise from scratch. Well-read books and watched films form the corresponding desires. Vladimir Petrovich Marenkov was born on December 12, 1926 in an ordinary city family. Parents lived in Moscow. They had a relationship with the world of cinema only as spectators. My father worked in a cooper's workshop. The mother was engaged in housekeeping and raising children. They lived, like most of our neighbors, modestly and with dignity.
Volodya grew up as an inquisitive child. He learned to read early and loved going to the cinema. In the early 1930s, "silent" films were still shown. Marenkov read the credits running across the screen on his own. He asked his parents for money for tickets. But they had to limit the boy's going to the movies to once a week. Then Vladimir began to speculate at the flea market with combs, saucers and other little things in order to have money for tickets. For his entrepreneurial activities, he was "taken" to the police and put on record.
Actor career
After leaving school, in 1944, Marenkov was drafted into the army and sent to the front. Returning home after the service, he did not give up his aspirations to become an actor. And he firmly decided to get a specialized education at the famous VGIK. It was possible to get into the number of students only from the second call. Vladimir was admitted to the studio of the famous director Sergei Gerasimov. Already in his student years, the future actor starred in two films "The Village Doctor" and "Hostile Whirlwinds." After completing his studies, the certified actor joined the troupe of the Film Actor's Studio Theater.
After a short period of time, Marenkov realized that it was difficult for him to work on the theatrical stage. Given this circumstance, he tried to devote more time to filming in films. The work of the film actor brought him well-deserved fame. Vladimir Petrovich had a rare talent for playing supporting roles on a par with the main roles. The audience remembered exactly those characters that he performed. Marenkov starred in the films "Adjutant of His Excellency", "Army" Wagtail "," Shield and Sword "," Gloomy River ". In total, the actor has more than a hundred works in various projects.
Career and personal life
Despite the fact that Marenkov's acting career was developing successfully, he did not receive honorary titles and awards. Of course, this fact did not please him. But Vladimir Petrovich did not show it.
In his personal life, Marenkov had one wedding. After marriage, husband and wife lived under the same roof for only six months. Then they parted peacefully. The actor never had children. Vladimir Marenkov died in April 2003.
