Labor veteran is not just a title. After all, it is given only for special services to the state and the region where the person being awarded lives. So, for example, each subject of the Russian Federation has its own rules for awarding this title. In the Moscow region, this is regulated by a special regulation approved in 2006.
It is necessary

- - application;
- - documents confirming the available medals;
- - documents confirming the beginning of the experience as a minor during the Second World War;
- - documents confirming the continuity and duration of work experience.
Instructions
Step 1
If you have medals or orders for labor exploits, and you have also reached the age when you are already entitled to an old-age pension, then you may well expect to receive the title of "Veteran of Labor of the Moscow Region". Also, the award of "Veteran" can be guaranteed to those people who began their labor activity as a minor during the Great Patriotic War. The only prerequisite for such pensioners should be compliance with the standards of work experience. For men, continuous work experience is 40 years, for women - 35.
Step 2
If you fit one of these categories of citizens, then you need to collect documents and go to the department of social protection of the population in the Moscow region at the place of your permanent registration. The package of papers includes a passport (as a document proving your identity, with a mark of registration in the Moscow region), an application for the title of "Veteran of Labor", documents confirming your awards: orders or medals, documents confirming your work experience (work book or service contracts). For those who began their labor activity during the Great Patriotic War, it is necessary to confirm this fact using the appropriate certificates or archival documents.
Step 3
Your application and the documents attached to it will be considered within 15 days. Moreover, a whole commission will be assembled at the Ministry of Social Protection of the Moscow Region to make the final decision. After it has adopted a resolution to give you the title or refuse, the decision will be announced to you within 5 working days from the date of the meeting.
Step 4
If you were denied a title, you must indicate the reason for the refusal. If approved, then you will be given a certificate of the established form. You can get it only against signature. And after receiving it, you will be able to deal with the registration of all the required benefits.
