Moscow International Film Festival 2013 will take place from 20 to 29 June. It will open with "War of the Worlds Z" with Brad Pitt in the title role, and will end with Irakli Kvirikadze's "Rasputin" with Gerard Depardieu.

The main competition will feature 16 films: from Italy ("Spaghetti Story"), Georgia ("Lawlessness"), Japan ("Valley of Farewells"), Poland ("Highway Patrol"), France ("The Other Life of Richard Kemp"), South Korea ("Lebanese Emotions"), Serbia, Germany, Hungary ("Mamarosh"), the Netherlands ("Matterhorn"), Great Britain ("Delight"), Spain ("Port Boys"), Switzerland ("Rosie"), Turkey ("Particle"), Brazil ("Foreign Memories") and Russia ("Judas", "Role", "Glide").
Step 3
The documentary film competition will be continued by the Free Thought program, and the short film competition by the Short Film Corner. Gastronomic and moral provocations will traditionally be dealt with by "Sex, Food, Culture, Death".
Step 4
Named programs of the 35th Moscow International Film Festival are dedicated to the works of Bernardo Bertolucci, Ursula Mayer, and the memory of Alexei Balabanov. The big event of the festival is the screening of Ulrich Seidl's triptych "Paradise" in his hope, faith and love.
Step 5
The Moscow International Festival 2013 in special programs devoted special attention to such film regions as Portugal, Holland and South Korea, and the French cinematheque brought masterpieces of the 30-70s.

Among the gala premieres of the 35th Moscow International Film Festival are “Marathon” by Karen Hovhannisyan, “This is not me” by Maria Sahakyan, “Boy nicknamed“H”” by Yasuo Furuhata, “Capital” by Costa Gavras. In "Special Screenings" - "The Castle" by Alexey Balabanov, "The Gardener" by Mohsen Makhmalbaf. "8 1/2 Films" will delight the joint work of Godard, Greenaway and Per under the title 3x3d, "The Eternal Return" by Kira Muratova, "A Touch of Sin" by Jia Zhanke and "Eli" by Amata Escalante.

Among other major films at the call of the international film festival in Moscow, Gondri's Foam of Days will arrive, Morning Star with Iggy Pop will appear, Eichinger's North Shore will appear, and Giuseppe Tornatore's Best Offer will sound.
