It is customary to wear the St. George ribbon on the chest, and only on the left. Why exactly on the left? There is a heart on the left, and wearing a ribbon on this side of the chest is a sign of memory of the exploits of Russian soldiers. Therefore, this wearing option is the most preferable.

The easiest way to wear the ribbon is to sew / attach it to the garment in the form of a loop. To do this, you need to take a ribbon 10-15 centimeters long by the ends on both sides and fold the ends in the form of the letter "x". After that, the product can be attached with a needle / pin or secured to the garment with a thread (one or two stitches). The puncture must be at the point where the ends of the tape collapse, otherwise the structure will simply disintegrate.
Ribbon bow
A slightly more difficult option is a bow. To make a nice bow, you need to take a ribbon 15-20 centimeters long, divide it visually into three equal parts, and bend the ribbon in the places of supposed divisions so that its ends cross. After that, the product can be tied in the middle with a thread or fixed immediately with a brooch / hairpin on the clothes.

If there is no time or if it is not possible to attach the tape as described above, then you can fasten it in the form of an inverted "jackdaw". The only thing to consider is that a ribbon no more than 10 centimeters long is suitable for this option (blanks made from longer ribbons look ridiculous). All that is needed is to visually divide the tape into two parts (it is desirable that one part is slightly longer than the second), bend it in this place at an angle of 45 degrees, and then attach it to the shirt / jacket.
