The future Deputy Minister of the State Duma of the Russian Federation was born in July 1970 in Leningrad. Since childhood, the boy dreamed of a military career. At the age of 14, Sergei became a cadet at the Nakhimov School, and upon graduation he entered a military university - the Kiev Morpolit (higher naval school with a political bias).
In 1991, Zheleznyak received a diploma of a political worker, the rank of lieutenant, and was assigned to serve in the location of the Baltic Fleet, stationed in Liepaja.
The beginning of the military career of Sergei Zheleznyak fell on a difficult political period for the country, when the army was practically falling apart. The young man decided to leave the service and go into business.

After retiring from the armed forces, Zheleznyak began to try himself in the advertising business, and he was not mistaken. As head of department at APR-Grup, he worked for a very short time, was promoted and became the CEO of the largest advertising agency. Leadership inclinations of a specialist were noted and highly appreciated, but in business Zheleznyak could not fully realize himself, and he decided to try his hand at politics. - 2007 - graduated from the IMD Institute of Management in Lausanne,
- in the same year - election to the lower house of parliament,
- 2012 - getting the place of the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
Sergei Zheleznyak put forward such legislative initiatives as the prohibition of profanity in the media and the promotion of non-traditional sexual orientation, regulation of content - films and music on the Internet, taxation of bloggers, indexation of pensions and others. Moreover, not all of them were perceived positively, both in the government and in society.

Sergei Vladimirovich is married to a native Muscovite - Frolova Ekaterina. The couple formalized their marriage in 1992. 4 daughters were born in the marriage. Three of them study at universities abroad, but Zheleznyak assures that, having received a diploma, the girls will return and work for the good of Russia. But it is already known that two of them chose to stay where they studied - one got married in England, the second became a teacher at the university.
The wife of a politician, like his daughters, is not a public person. They practically do not take part in public events attended by Sergei Zheleznyak.
