This man terrified ordinary citizens. Nikolai Dzhumagaliev is known as a serial killer, cannibal and rapist who not only killed people in cold blood, but also sneered at the bodies of his victims. The examination recognized Dzhumagaliev as a schizophrenic patient. He was compulsorily assigned to treatment. Then he ran and hid for a long time. But in the end, he again ended up in a clinic with a strict regime. Those who have studied materials about the crimes committed by the maniac believe that he has no place among people.
Strokes to the portrait of Dzhumagaliev and facts from the biography
The birthplace of N. Dzhumagaliev is the regional center Uzun-Agach, in Kazakhstan. He was born on November 15, 1952. Nikolai's mother is Belarusian, his father is Kazakh. His appearance is Asian, but he speaks Russian without any accent. And he makes the impression on those around him that he has received a very good education. Nicholas has one habit - he often emphasizes his chosenness and superiority over other people, hinting that he is a descendant of the famous Genghis Khan.
However, for all, Dzhumagaliyev remains a serial killer, a bloodthirsty maniac, at whose hands nine people died.
As a child, Dzhumagaliyev grew up absorbing the norms of Muslim morality. He respected the Koran, but he treated women without due respect as being of the lowest class. The upbringing of Nicholas in the family was most influenced by his mother.
Dzhumagaliyev had a great dislike for European women: he did not like their relaxedness. Returning home from the army, he realized to his horror that morality in Kazakhstan is also not at the proper level. A decision came to Dzhumagaliev: he must take on the mission of a brave fighter against debauchery.
Plunging into sleep, Nikolai often saw vivid pictures: naked bodies of women flashed in front of him, falling apart. These dreams were later destined to come true.
Atrocities of a serial maniac
For the first time, Dzhumagaliev was convicted of a murder that he committed through negligence. He took the life of his colleague and received more than four years in prison for his act. Nikolai Espolovich was sent for examination to the capital of the USSR. The verdict of specialists from the Serbian Institute was unequivocal: schizophrenia.
Then no one knew that this was not the first murder. A year earlier, Dzhumagaliyev dealt with his other victim. Then he cut it into pieces and salted it in a barrel. This murder was not limited to.
The massacres of women by a mentally ill person amazed the imagination with their cruelty, senselessness and rare composure on the part of the criminal. Dzhumagaliev, moreover, turned out to be a rapist and a cannibal: he tasted the blood of the women he had slaughtered and ate their flesh.
The maniac was arrested after another murder, when he appeared in the company of drunken friends, holding the head of a new victim in a bloody hand. The companions, seized with horror, fled and immediately reported what they saw to the law enforcement agencies.
The further fate of Dzhumagaliev
The trial of the man-eating maniac took place in 1981. Psychiatric diagnosis this time saved Dzhumagaliev from criminal punishment. The judge decided that this non-human needs compulsory treatment. In a psychiatric hospital, the maniac twice tried to commit suicide, but failed.
Dzhumagaliev spent eight years in a clinic in Tashkent, demonstrating a steady improvement in his condition. They decided to transfer him to a hospital with the usual regime. But along the way, the maniac disappeared, deceiving the orderly and the nurse accompanying him. The killer hid in the mountains for over a year. Only then was he caught.
The detained fugitive was again sent to the hospital in Tashkent, where he remained until 1994. Then Dzhumagaliev was released, discontinuing treatment. And they sent me home. But life in the village became unbearable for the maniac: the villagers did not give him rest, hounded him, demanded to protect their wives, sisters and daughters from communicating with the murderer and rapist. Nikolai went back to the mountains.
Subsequently, Dzhumagaliev made an attempt to go to jail for petty embezzlement under the guise of a Chinese citizen. However, during the check, the operatives did a great job and revealed deception. Nikolai was returned to a psychiatric hospital with a strict regime. There he is now, dreaming, if not of being released, then at least of death. Information was leaked to the press that Dzhumagaliyev had submitted a petition to the authorities for the death penalty. The request, of course, was not granted. But doctors considered such a request a sign of the patient's deteriorating mental state.
