The lyric-dramatic soprano has a softer sound. And the lyric is often compared to the oboe for its soulfulness.
Coloratura soprano is the tallest subspecies. Girls with such a voice are able to perform trills, take races, go to the whistle register. But the middle notes are much harder for them.

Mezzo-soprano. Average voice among women. Women with such vocals choose the roles of strong-willed heroines of Balzac's age. The clearest example of this is Habanera from Carmen.

Contralto. This kind of female voices is the lowest. At the same time, it is also the rarest. Opera houses cannot always boast of having viola singers. The individualism of such performers also forces them to play the roles of young men in famous productions.

Tenor. This type of male voice is distinguished by its height and purity. Countertenors are much less common, standing out with an unnaturally sonorous sound and the ability to master the art of falsetto. For example, Freddie Mercury was by nature a baritone, but he always played the tenor parts and went to the upper octaves.

Baritone. Average voice in men. The thick and velvety timbre of baritones was created for the performance of the parts of real men, full of love for a woman or homeland. Cashmere sound is pleasing to the ear and is highly praised by critics for proper handling.
Step 6
Bass. Low male voice. Like the female contralto, bass is also the rarest. There are actually few opera professionals with this kind of voice. Bass can be boomy and booming, or hard. They also distinguish bass-profundo, the lowest voice. Its owners can easily take notes of the counter octave.
