Throughout the 19th century, white citizens of the United States methodically destroyed the native population of America - the Indians. In the 20th century, Nobel laureate in economics Milton Friedman developed an economic theory called monetarism. With the help of this technique, it is possible to destroy the surplus population in any country without the use of firearms and toxic substances.
Starting conditions
Milton Friedman was born on July 31, 1912 into a family of small ironmongers. Parents at that time lived in Brooklyn, which is still considered the most populated area of New York. The child was getting used to being neat and economical in spending money. Every dollar was given to my father with great difficulty. At school, the boy studied well and after graduation easily entered the local university. After receiving his bachelor's degree in 1932, Milton accepted the offer and entered the graduate school of economics at the University of Chicago.
The young man did not come to this decision by chance. At that time, the so-called Great Depression was gaining momentum in the United States. To understand the causes and events that caused the crisis, Friedman decided to plunge into the problem as deeply as possible. He had to travel a lot around the country to get statistical material and see with his own eyes how ordinary Americans live in the conditions of the economic crisis. It is important to emphasize that the fate of hired workers did not interest him at all. By this time, he had already formed his own ideas about the economic model, to which he should go.
Scientific interests
One of the lines that Friedman justified involved the structure of income and consumption of the average American. The future Nobel Prize laureate did his best to prove the harmfulness of state intervention in the economy. With energy worthy of better use, he championed the idea of the "invisible hand of the market." In his research and fundamental writings, he introduced the term "human capital". If you reveal the essence of this figure of speech, then a person in the capitalist system was equated with a material or financial resource.
Human capital does not need to be fully utilized. Some part of everything should be kept in reserve. Just like every market participant keeps a $ 100 bill in his wallet just in case of fire. An entrepreneur must have in stock not only money, but also specialists. This stock is called the unemployed. Five percent of the total working population can receive unemployment benefits without much damage to the economy as a whole.
Practical implementation of the theory
Milton Friedman can be considered a happy person. His theory has been implemented in several countries. Particularly disastrous results were obtained in Chile and in Russia. In the first case, the reforms were carried out under the patronage of the dictator Augusto Pinochet, in the second, under the drunken antics of President Boris Yeltsin. The results of these experiments have convincingly shown that the free market leads to massive impoverishment of the population. At the same time, there is no limit to the enrichment of large corporations.
The educational system, taken out of state control, turns schools into business structures. The same situation is developing in healthcare. Taken together, Friedman's model gradually leads to population degradation and gradual extinction. Twenty years of experience of the Russian state confirms these facts.
