Theaters are places of special culture. They go to performances not only to have fun, but to join the beautiful.
That is why the sometimes vulgar and almost vandal attitude of today's youth introduces avid theatergoers into a real shock with the smell of Corvalol. But the requirements of theatrical ethics are not all that difficult. Their main principle is not to interfere with others from watching the performance, and in the case of actors, not to interfere with them from playing their roles.
You cannot dress in a theater like a disco. Traditionally, it so happened that a theater trip is something of a holiday. Now, of course, no one demands to come there in evening dresses with boas or in hats with a veil, but the limits of decency still need to be observed. Your appearance should be strict and solemn at the same time.
You can't be late for the show either. You should come to it 15 minutes before the start in order to have time to take off your outerwear and hand it in to the wardrobe, buy a program and get acquainted with the details of the performance.
In case you need to get to your place, bypassing a number of people, there is also a certain rule. Never walk with your back to the audience in your row.
In order not to disturb the silence in the hall, turn off your mobile phone in advance; do not comment on the actions taking place on the stage; do not rustle with extraneous things; do not talk to neighbors. In order to discuss the performance, there is an intermission. An intermission is also needed to leave the performance if you don't like it. Do not leave the hall during the act.
It is also considered indecent for the audience to leave the hall at the end of the performance, until the actors have left the stage. This is disrespect for them. Follow the theatrical culture, because it says a lot to the people around you and about your cultural level.
