Sergei Mardar played not only a large number of roles in theater and cinema, his voice is familiar to viewers of all ages from the Smeshariki cartoons, in which he voices two characters at once: Kar-Karych and Sovunya.
Russian theater and film actor Sergei Alexandrovich Mardar played in such famous film series as Streets of Broken Lanterns, Cop Wars, Intelligence, and National Security Agent. Many cartoon characters speak in his voice: "Smeshariki", "Princess", "Catopolis", "Flying Animals" and others.
The future actor was born on October 8, 1973. He spent his childhood on the Black Sea coast in the city of Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, Odessa region (Ukraine). He is now 45 years old.
Since childhood, he was quite independent. After the death of his father, Sergei began to do the main work around the house and household. Looking at his older brother, he dreamed of becoming a sailor as a child, but did not enter the nautical school. He did not like "Shipbuilding" at the Institute of the Fishing Industry and was expelled due to poor progress. Before serving in the army, he managed to work as a turner and a newspaper dealer.
Accidental acquaintance with a student who was keen on theater predetermined the choice of a future profession, and Sergei, who had never even participated in theatrical performances, began to passionately dream of acting and theater.
Education and career
After serving in the army, Sergei entered the State University of Trade Unions in St. Petersburg with a degree in directing and acting. He specialized in the course of Z. Ya. Korogodsky and graduated in 1998.
After graduation, the actor continued to work at the Theater of Generations. Z. Ya. Korogodsky, where he came as a student. In January 2017, he received an extremely tempting invitation to work in the troupe of the famous Alexandrinsky Theater, in which he continues to combine work with work at the Theater of Generations. An amazingly hard-working person who simultaneously combines work in a large number of projects in theaters and cinema.
In the Alexandrinsky Theater, Sergei Mardar can be seen in such performances as: "Cyrano de Bergerac", "Crum", "Bath", "Optimistic Tragedy. Farewell Ball", "Marriage".

Sergey Mardar is married. He met his wife Elena at the theater, where she did an internship. They have a daughter, Sophia.
The actor began acting in films back in 2000, and during this time he managed to appear in 126 films and TV series. Sergey is mainly offered to play the roles of military men, policemen or bandits. His characteristic appearance limits the possibilities of working in other roles, but I must say that the actor is in great demand. He takes on any role, often secondary. Since 2003, the actor has brilliantly voiced Kak-Karych and Sovunya in the Smeshariki cartoons. Sergey Mardar's contribution to Russian cinema is great, he is constantly improving his talent.
