Thanks to the cooperation of Russian and Ukrainian cinematographers, TV viewers received another wonderful forensic series. This is "Traffic cops". The first season of this movie was released in May 2008 and immediately found a lot of fans.
The television series has two main characters who are equal to each other. Both heroes are employees of the traffic police. One of them, Lavrov, had previously worked as an operative in the department. But due to a combination of circumstances, he had to change jobs.
His partner is a traffic cop of pre-retirement age - Zimin. He is used to a quiet, calm life, taking bribes when offered.
Of course, the first acquaintance with such two different people was unfortunate. But after a short time, being in a hopeless situation, they found a common language.
Thanks to his acquaintance with Lavrov, Zimin reconsiders his attitude to work and eventually stops taking bribes.
The plot of the series
From time to time, two partners, by stupid coincidence of circumstances, end up in various crime stories. In an effort to restore justice, they go beyond their powers. The boss is always trying to reason with them and encourages them to strive for a positive image of the traffic police officer. But Lavrov and Zimin treat this with sarcasm. They are determined to privately continue to fight evil.

This series has 2 seasons. Each of them consists of several films, which are complete stories.
There are 8 films in the first season. During this time, the heroes get to know each other. Zimin learns about the tragic fate of Lavrov's wife and little daughter. And Lavrov, in turn, gets to know his partner's family and periodically helps them in some way.
In the second season - 8 films, 16 episodes. Some changes are taking place not only in the lives of the heroes, but also in their careers. Sergei Lavrov intends to marry his longtime girlfriend Skvortsova. And Zimin gets a young, funny and chatty trainee - Bibi.
The friendship between Lavrov and Zimin does not end. They all also get involved in all sorts of crime stories and fight for justice.
About the main actors
The fearless traffic cop Lavrov was played by Sergey Astakhov, a native of the village of Krasny Liman, Voronezh Region. Sergey arrived in Moscow in 1999, before that he played at the Voronezh Academic Drama Theater.
In addition to acting, Sergei tries himself as a screenwriter. The first work was the script for the movie "Escape".
Lavrov's partner was played by a wonderful actor Vladimir Gusev. During his career, this actor starred in many films, many of which are recognized as classics of Soviet cinema.
