The future singer of the author's song was born on May 30, 1960 in an intelligent Soviet family. Parents lived in Moscow. His father, a well-known journalist, was fluent in French, worked on radio, the Novosti Press Agency and other media. Mother worked as an engineer in a construction trust. According to the established tradition, parents spent their holidays on hiking trips. We often went out into the countryside on weekends. From the age of three they began to take Galya with them. It was at these events that Galya found out and then began to sing tourist songs.
In the creative field
As befits a child, Galina went to school when she was seven years old. At the same time, she was enrolled in a music school for a piano class. A talented girl easily coped with such a load. When the time came to choose a profession, she decided to enter the philological faculty of Moscow University. In her student years, Galya mastered the technique of playing the guitar and pushed the piano into the far corner. After graduation, she was invited to television in the editorial office of children's programs. Khomchik made programs for children and performed at the evenings of the author's song.
