Childhood and youth
One of the Bible books says that tomorrow is not promised to anyone. This simple truth is understood by older people. People who witnessed with their own eyes wonderful changes in the behavior of their friends or colleagues. Roman Indyk grew up as a smart and quick-witted child. From an early age, he demonstrated the ability to master the exact sciences. The boy did well at school. His favorite subjects were mathematics and physics. In high school, Roman, for his own pleasure, solved problems in geometry, instead of reading adventure and science fiction novels.
The future actor and screenwriter was born on March 5, 1973 in an ordinary Soviet family. Parents lived in the famous city of Kaluga. My father worked as an engineer at an engineering plant. Mother taught literature at school. When the time came to choose a profession, Roman decided to get a specialized education at the Bauman Higher Technical School. I went to Moscow and easily passed the entrance exams. However, having completed his studies to the fourth year, he sharply changed his life orientations. Indyk left Baumanka and entered the acting department at VGIK.
Theater and film actor
In 1998, the graduated actor joined the troupe of the Clownery Theater under the direction of Teresa Durova. Experiments on stage captivated Roman. According to experts, he has performed superbly the one-man show "Chikatilo Tower". Then he worked in the play "Three acts in four scenes." By this time, Indyk completed an accelerated course of study at the Faculty of Classical Philology at the Humanitarian University. Went through and started writing scripts for films and theatrical productions. His solo performance “The Last Tango of Casanova” was accepted by the metropolitan audience quite favorably.
Roman's work was noticed on television. For several years he hosted the program "Secret Signs" on TV-3. Indyk began acting in films back in 1997. All-Russian fame was brought to the actor by his role in the film "I Conceived an Escape". After that he was immediately recognized in the film "Fizruk", where Roman played a supporting role. According to the artist, he prefers to play negative characters. It is more interesting to reveal the fate of the hero through the image of a villain and a bastard.
Prospects and personal life
Indyk's acting career was very successful. In 2016, he managed to work in four projects. However, this does not bring him complete satisfaction. That is why he writes scripts and plans to make films based on them. Roman's personal life is well arranged. He is legally married to Marina, who is far from a creative get-together. The husband and wife are raising a son, who was born in 2009.
