Grebenshchikov Kirill Yuryevich is a Russian film and theater actor, known for many bright roles in Russian cinema, constantly appearing in modern TV series, a caring husband and father.
Biography
Kirill is a hereditary actor, he was born into the family of a theater and film artist and a theater actress who taught at VGIK on June 22, 1972. The child literally "lived behind the scenes", having traveled all over the country with famous parents and got acquainted with the seamy side of the theater.
He himself had no doubts about what future awaited him, but Kirill's parents did not want their son to choose an acting career, and they tried to take him with something else. Swimming, art school, football - but all this remained for Kirill only temporary hobbies.
In 1988, a tragedy happened in the family - the car of the famous poet knocked down Yuri Grebenshchikov, after which he fell into a coma and died 3 months later. Kirill and his mother were left alone. But the mother, the famous Natalya Orlova, did her best to give her son a good education.
After a decade, Kirill Grebenshchikov entered the Moscow Art Theater for an artistic specialization, but after meeting with Alla Pokrovskaya, a director and actress, he switched to another course, acting. And in 1995, having received a diploma, the young actor became one of the employees of the Stanislavsky Theater and immediately established himself as one of the leading stage artists.
Career
While still a student, Grebenshchikov Kirill Yuryevich got a tiny role in the film "Russian Novel", and in 1998 he played a small role in "The Barber of Siberia" by Mikhalkov. After that, a career in cinema for the young talent was secured, but he remained loyal to the theater, where he had already played major roles in high-profile performances.
And only in 2004, he returned to cinema, becoming one of the faces that constantly appear in modern films. On his account - more than 60 characters in large films by various Russian directors. 2004 and 2005 brought the actor prominent roles in serials, in 2009 he played the role of Christ in the multi-part film adaptation of The Brothers Karamazov, took part in Shakhnazarov's large-scale project Anna Karenina.
In addition to working in the cinema and on theatrical stage, Kirill publishes audio books, acted as the host of the Miracle Fairy Tale program on the Kultura TV channel. Today he is busy filming several serials at once and plans to soon start filming the full-length film "Matryoshka".
Personal life
Olga, his future wife, Kirill met in his student years. Daughter Polina was born to a happy couple in 1994. Grebenshchikov is an exemplary family man who considers caring for his family to be his main task in life. He loves simple human joys, for example, tinkering at his own dacha in Serebryany Bor or walking with his wife through the streets of Moscow.
