Gennady Vetrov is a well-known humorist, musician, satirist, “man-orchestra”. He is the author of scripts for many variety performances, books, poems. In 2009. he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
Biography
Gennady Vetrov was born in 1958, in Makeevka (Donbass), into a simple family. His father is a miner, his mother is a trade worker. Gennady's grandfather played the accordion, knew how to sing. While studying at school, the boy attended all kinds of circles. He studied music, theater, played chess, sang in the choir. He was not taken to the dance club due to his lack of ability.
When Gena was 7 years old, he and his friends met a cameraman, together they shot the film "The Conspiracy of Smokers". The boy was a screenwriter, stage director, played one of the roles.
Vetrov studied well, knew how to play the button accordion, made drawings for the wall newspaper. After school, he entered the Art and Industry Institute (Lvov), but unsuccessfully. In 1976-1981. Vetrov studied at the Civil Engineering Institute (Mayevka), created VIA "Orion". The group has successfully performed at various events.
In the army, Gennady showed himself as a creative person. He drew well, performed with concerts. Philharmonic artists recommended that he seriously take up acting. Vetrov entered the workshop of I. Shtokbat for a variety course, where Y. Galtsev studied. and S. Selin.
Career
In 1988-1994. Vetrov worked at the Buff Theater, and he also toured abroad. The troupe was played by Y. Galtsev and E. Vorobei. Vetrov played roles, was a director, co-wrote scripts. He directed the projects "White and Black", "Winnie-Gret", created 3 of his own programs "Mask Rad", "People, ay!", "Zucchini" Windmill ". 1993-1994. he performed in Switzerland, Germany.
Since 1994, Gennady has appeared on television in St. Petersburg, he hosted some programs. In 1999. Vetrov moved to the capital. Personal life
Vetrov's first wife is Anastasia Smolina, a classmate at LGITMiK. They later worked together at Buff. They have a daughter, Ksenia, with whom Gennady keeps in touch.
The second wife is Karina Zvereva, she and Gennady have an age difference of 20 years. The marriage lasted 14 years, but then fell apart. After the divorce, Gennady met Oksana Voronicheva, a flight attendant, she is 30 years younger. They got married in 2014, later they had a daughter, Maria.
