Mikhail Bashkatov is a Russian comedian with a vivid biography, in which there were roles in the TV series "Give Youth!", "Daddy's Daughters" and "Kitchen". Prior to that, he played for the KVN team "MaximuM".
Biography
Mikhail Bashkatov was born in 1981 in Tomsk. As a child, he loved to read, but, oddly enough, he grew up an inveterate hooligan and even ended up in the police. The boy was distinguished by a changeable character and wanted to become either a builder, then a doctor, or a journalist. As a result, he chose an economic education for himself, deciding to follow in the footsteps of his parents.
At the university, Mikhail Bashkatov began playing for the KVN team “Big City Lights”. Later, together with his friend Konstantin Malasaev, he created the MaximuM team, which from 2000 to 2004 won exclusively prizes in city and regional competitions. This opened the way for the team, first to the All-Russian Premier League of KVN, and then to the Major League.
The path of Bashkatov and his team “MaximuM” in the Major League did not always go well: at first, comedians ended up in the last places, but gradually they made their way higher thanks to the experience gained. Finally, in 2008, "MaximuM" becomes the absolute champion of the League, and all participants - famous artists on television. For some time they continued to be welcome guests at such festivals as "KVN-Siberia", "Voting KiViN" and others.
In 2009, Mikhail Bashkatov received an offer to become a TV presenter of the Video Battle show on the STS channel, and a year later he and several former teammates joined the cast of the comic sketch show Give Youth. His comedic images found a strong response from the audience, who stole many of the characters' phrases into quotes.
In the future, the artist practically did not leave the channel and starred in several of his projects. The most famous was the series "Kitchen" (later Bashkatov also played in its full-length sequel), where he played the role of a young chef Denis Krylov. In addition, Mikhail starred in the comedy films "From March 8, Men!" and "Corporate".
Personal life
Mikhail Bashkatov is a very exemplary family man. For a long time he has been married to Ekaterina Bagel. The artist met his future wife during his university years and since then has not parted for a day. During family life, the couple had three sons: Fedor, Timofey and Stepan. Currently, the Bashkatovs live in Moscow.
Today Mikhail Bashkatov remains a popular comedy artist. At the same time, he never ceases to discover new images for himself. He recently starred as a presenter in one of the issues of the popular travel show "Heads and Tails". In addition, Bashkatov is starring in the Russian science fiction film Star Mind, which will be released in 2019.
