Vladimir Petrovich Zamansky: biography, career and personal life

He was born in the last century - in 1926, in Kremenchug. When the Great Patriotic War began, my mother was gone, and 17-year-old Volodya was left alone. He did not seek an easy life, but went to the front as a volunteer. At the same time, he had to deceive the commission in order to add his age. He fought until the end of the war, was wounded, pulled his comrades out of the very inferno, went through a lot. And he was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, II degree, as well as the Order For Courage. This award was awarded to fighters who showed personal courage in battle.

After the war, Vladimir Petrovich remained to serve in the army, where an unpleasant story happened to him: he was convicted of participating in the beating of the commander, and sentenced to 9 years in the camps. As part of the construction team, Zamansky built high-rise buildings, including Moscow State University. For work in a dangerous area, the term was reduced to 5 years, and in 1954 he was released.

Colleagues later said that the camp did not leave a single imprint on Zamansky - he remained an intellectual and humanist to the core even after such a test.

The path to the cinema

Can you imagine that a person immediately from prison goes to study at the Moscow Art Theater School? And Zamansky went! After graduation - a career in two theaters, then an entreprise, then a lot of films. The debut took place in 1960 with the film Skating Rink and Violin by Tarkovsky. The actor was immediately noticed, and the roles came to him very easily.

In total, during his long cinematic biography, Zamansky played in 80 films, but a stellar role came to him with the film "Check on the Roads". For the role of policeman Lazarev, he received the State Prize. And later, as recognition of his contribution to Soviet cinema - the title of People's Artist (1988).

One listing of the pictures in which Zamansky had a chance to play makes a whole list. Here are the dramas "Here is our home" and "Mushroom rain", war films "Tomorrow was the war" and "Day of the division commander", the epoch-making film "Eternal Call" and others. And each of his roles is bright and unforgettable.

During this period, Vladimir Zamansky managed to play in the theater, act in films, plays and sound films. He disappeared almost all day, either in the studio, or on the set, or in the theater.

Even in the late 1980s, when Zamansky was over sixty, he played quite often: for example, the short film "Mister Runaway" and the drama "The Ship" are very interesting works. The filmography of the famous actor ends with the films "Botanical Garden" and "One Hundred Days Before the Order". And in 2004 he successfully acted as a TV presenter in one of the programs of the cycle "Earthly and Heavenly".

Personal life

A few years after the start of his acting career, Vladimir Zamansky met Natalya Klimova, who soon became his wife. She then played the role of the Snow Queen in the fairy tale of the same name, and was very popular. Vladimir rested on his laurels after the "Check on the roads". They were a beautiful, elegant couple - one of the most prominent acting couples in the Soviet Union.

However, they have no children. At first, the work took all the time, and then the illness prevented: Natalya fell ill with tuberculosis, Vladimir suffered from headaches due to a front-line wound. Natalia was expelled from the theater, and the couple decided to move from Moscow to Murom.

So they live in a wooden house on the banks of the Oka, next to the church, which they often go to - fortunately, there are several steps to it.
