Starting conditions

In the distant 60s of the last century, Soviet hockey players regularly took first places in world championships. Looking at the play of Soviet stars, the children tried to learn better, and the foremost workers of production exceeded their plans. When Vadim Mulerman sang the song "A coward does not play hockey", it instantly became a hit. A similar story was repeated after the appearance on the air of the radio program "Good morning" of the comic song "How good it is to be a general." The track record of the popular artist goes on and on.

Vadim Iosifovich Mulerman was born on August 18, 1938 in an ordinary Soviet family. Parents at that time lived in the famous city of Kharkov. My father worked at a construction site. Mother worked as a cutter in a garment factory. Musical ability and the child began to show from an early age. Vadim easily memorized the melodies and words of songs that he heard on the radio and at family holidays. At school, the future singer studied well. When the time came to choose a profession, he decided to get a specialized education at the Kharkov Conservatory.

Creative way

The vocal abilities of the aspiring singer were noticed by experts and invited him to transfer to the vocal department of the conservatory in Leningrad. The talented performer was persistently urged to take up opera singing. But Vadim, after some hesitation, decided to become a pop singer. Mulerman joined the Leningrad Concert Association. The song "Lame King" brought fame to the young performer, thanks to which he became a laureate of the All-Union contest of pop artists. After that, they began to invite him to group concerts and touring trips.

In 1968, Mulerman performed the song "Lada", which in a matter of days became a hit. According to statistics, in the next two years, Lada became the most popular name for newborn girls. By the early 70s, the singer had become one of the most popular performers of lyric songs in the Soviet Union. However, after the general glory, there was a period of oblivion. The singer was no longer invited to television. He had to record records and go on tour. In the early 90s, Vadim Iosifovich left for the United States.

Recognition and privacy

While living in the United States, the singer organized a children's musical theater, which was popular among the Russian-speaking population. But Mulerman was drawn home. In 2004 he returned to his native land. For his great contribution to the development of Russian culture, he was awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of the RSFSR".

There is a lot to tell about the singer's personal life. He entered into legal marriage three times. In the second and third marriages, Mulerman had daughters. The eldest lives in the USA, the youngest in Ukraine. Vadim Mulerman died in May 2018 after a serious illness.
