Finding a person in a big city is a difficult task, albeit doable. However, if you know exactly the locality where the wanted person lives, then you can succeed faster.
Instructions
Step 1
Try to search through friends. Perhaps one of them has at least once heard of the person you need. Maybe, if you're lucky, someone you know personally knows the person you're looking for.
Step 2
If you know roughly where this person works or studies, call the appropriate institution, namely the institution's personnel department. Specify your information, ask for a phone number or address of the wanted person. If you need to find a student from one of the city's universities, most likely you will be lucky to see him during the day.
Step 3
Use social media to search. As a rule, this is the most effective and simple method today. A large number of users are registered in social networks. Check out the most popular sites: My World, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki.
Step 4
Search by last name and age in ICQ or Skype. Go to the city's forum, where residents communicate with each other. Of course, this search option will be effective if you know the name and surname of the person you are looking for.
Step 5
Use a different method to find a person in a metropolis. Call your local radio station, where they say hello to friends and family. Ask the person you need to answer your call.
Step 6
Post your ads around the city. If you have a photo of the wanted person, print it on a printer in several copies and post it on poles and notice boards. When creating flyers, you should also think about the aesthetic appearance of your ad. First of all, it should immediately catch the eye of a passer-by. It is better if the photo is in color, and the text in the leaflet is typed in bold.
Step 7
Advertise in your local newspaper. It is better to attach a photo and pay for the service, then the photo will be placed on the front pages of the publication.
