Biography
The famous sculptor was born in the midst of the Great Patriotic War, in 1943. The capital of Russia became the hometown of Leonid. Studied at an art institute in his hometown for 6 years. 2 years before graduation, he decided to try his hand at international, city and foreign competitions among the figures of the sculptural image.
A year after receiving higher art education, at the age of 26, Baranov was awarded a place in one of the most eminent and respected councils of artists in the Soviet Union. At the moment he is a member of the Council of Artists of the Russian Federation.

They also have two children who have already reached the age of majority: Peter and Natalya.
